PopChart Server uses a special font format that allows it to generate images in different languages and formats. These fonts reside in the lib/fsfiles folder of your PopChart installation. They have an extension of either .fsf or .fsd.
One great feature new to PopChart Server 4.0 is full support for double-byte characters. This means, for example, that you can use Asian fonts natively with PopChart Server.
Because of the wide variety of fonts available, PopChart Server comes installed with only a small number of commonly used fonts.
However, if you have a font you would like to use with PopChart Server, you may be able to convert that font to the PopChart Font format. This process is explained in the next section, "Importing Custom Fonts."
Note: The Times, Helvetica, and Courier font sets may support some international characters, but there are no guarantees. PopChart Server supports a much broader range of international characters when using the pre-installed Lucida font set, but there is no Asian or double-byte character support in this font set. If you need full double-byte character support, you should import custom fonts.
