This chapter discusses how to request PopChart images directly from PopChart Server using HTTP requests, and also how to embed those requests in HTML tags.

The strategies discussed in this chapter represent an alternative to the PopChart Embedder approach of communicating with PopChart Server. Prior to the 4.0 release, the HTTP request strategy, often referred to as the Image-URL method, received considerably more attention. Now, however, we are encouraging PopChart users to move to the PopChart Embedder.
