PopChart File/Directory Structure

Before you begin using PopChart Server, you may want to be aware of how its files are organized. It is not necessary to read this section, but it may be of benefit for power users.

The following list describes each of the folders that are installed in your PopChart Server root directory. The PopChart Server root directory is the folder to which you chose to install PopChart Server.

/bin Executables, batch files, and scripts for PopChart Server, PopChart Builder, and the Font Converter.

/chart_root Your document root. This is where you serve your appearance, data, and command files from. Also contains your SVG templates and saved images, as well as the example files.

/config Stores configuration files and info, including path.xml and your license.

/dev_tools Contains PopChart Embedders (Java, COM, JavaBean) and redirectors (ISAPI, Apache, Servlet).

/docs Documentation.

/lib Contains.jar files, templates for PopChart Builder, and font-shape files.

/logs Contains log files.

/tmp Stores temporary files.
